Session 1: Data Archive and Purge

Abstract: As a DBA we always face challenge of managing and maintaining data growth considering data retention defined. While designing database if we cover all aspects of archive and purge than we can very well prevent all database performance and infrastructure related fears.

In presentation I will be doing some live demo of how a user can define and add such value or parameter which will help DBA in maintaining considering data retention provided by business and how all the process is getting automated.

Session 2: Stay alive on Social Network

Abstract: In this professional development session I will talk about the importance of staying active on Social Network. I will share few tips on how to get the most out of it and benefit professionally over the social media.

Session 3: Explore the Power of Extended Events

Abstract: Extended Events has been introduced in SQL Server 2008 and with deprecation of Profiler, now it is more critical to start using Extended Events. In this session I will briefly introduce this feature and demonstrate few scenarios of your choice from a list of Demos.
